We are proud to play an active role in the communities that we serve. We have well established relationships with key local partners in both Bristol and Cape Town and sponsor several amateur sports teams.
We are committed to leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible. To this end we encourage our employees to use sustainable travel methods, whenever possible. We offer a cycle to work scheme for employees at our Bristol office, which includes help with buying a bike, plus access to secure storage facilities and onsite showers. We are also committed to eliminating waste through the creation of a paperless office environment.
Anana Cloud data centers are compliant with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 Environmental & Energy Management standards. 50% of the energy used comes from a renewable source and cooling water is harvested from rainwater. Low power facilities, such as LED lighting are utilised throughout all Anana offices.
Anana has embraced Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE). A South African government initiative, BBBEE, aims to help people living in disadvantaged communities gain valuable skills and permanent employment. Working in partnership with Velisa Africa Academy, we support young people in education and provide them with ‘real world’ experience in the workplace.
